Police Day

On March 3, 2023, a solemn meeting dedicated to the Day of Formation of the Belarusian Militia was held at the Verkhnedvinsk Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Security Department.

The head of the department, Police Lieutenant Colonel Ivanov D.V., addressed the attendees with welcoming remarks, noting that upholding legality and law and order is a noble and honorable mission, but at the same time, a huge responsibility to the people and the state. Undoubtedly, both in difficult periods of our country's history and in peaceful years of creation, police service has been and will be an example of selflessness, loyalty to duty and the Oath, and readiness to help citizens in trouble. Our employees work on the front lines, blocking crime, ensuring law and order, and public tranquility.

The merits of all employees were recognized with monetary bonuses on this day; the best were awarded with Letters of Gratitude and Certificates of Honor, and the Department of Security badges "For Distinction," "70 Years of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Security Department."

For assisting in the education of personnel, in maintaining public order, in promoting the activities of the internal affairs bodies and internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and also on the occasion of Militia Day, our veterans were awarded monetary bonuses: Tereshko Alexander Nikolaevich, Rudnitsky Alexander Vladimirovich, Protas Oleg Alexandrovich.

On this day, special gratitude is extended to the relatives and loved ones of the employees for their support and understanding. It is important for each of us to be confident that loving people are waiting for us at home, who will greet us with care and the warmth of home.

Special words of gratitude were expressed to the veterans of the internal affairs bodies – people who served the Fatherland selflessly, who made an invaluable contribution to the fight against crime, and who today are engaged in the education and training of personnel. The unquestionable authority and experience of veterans are a powerful resource for the current young generation of employees.
