No one is forgotten on New Year's Day
New Year's holidays are winter days that are especially magical! It's unlikely anyone would argue with that.
The Head of the Security Department, Ivanov Dmitry Vladimirovich, and the Chairman of the Veterans Organization of the Verkhnedvinsk Security Department, Tereshko Alexander Nikolaevich, visited and congratulated the retired security department employee Dedushkevich Viktor Terentyevich, who is already 81 years old, on the New Year. Viktor Terentyevich served as a police officer in a line unit for 24 years, faithfully performing his duty. He retired with the rank of warrant officer.
Tears of joy appeared in Viktor Terentyevich's eyes at the unexpected meeting with his former supervisor, Tereshko A.N.
Memories of his younger service years resurfaced. He also faced hardships during the year of the terrible man-made disaster at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. From 05/06/1997 to 06/06/1997, Viktor Terentyevich participated in the liquidation of the consequences of the ChNPP. His participation made a significant contribution to the nationwide effort of rehabilitation and restoration of the affected territories. Having gone through significant milestones in his life, having fulfilled his service duty to the Fatherland, he is an example for our youth.
During the visit, the Head of the Security Department, Ivanov Dmitry Vladimirovich, presented the pensioner with financial assistance and agricultural products.
