Fire Safety Decade. Verkhnedvinsk
To enhance the safety of citizens in the Verkhnedvinsk district, a ten-day campaign is being conducted to prevent fires and fatalities.
When inspecting households, rescuers focus on the condition of electrical wiring, stoves, gas boilers, and the presence of autonomous fire alarms. They inform citizens about fire safety requirements in everyday life and remind them of actions to take in case of a fire.
Rescuers are working in conjunction with employees of the territorial social service center and the internal affairs department. The raid groups pay close attention to individuals who abuse alcohol, lead an antisocial lifestyle, and those who have previously come to the attention of various preventive entities. Efforts are aimed at fostering a culture of life safety among citizens, instilling skills for rescue in emergency situations, and instructing on measures to prevent fires in dwellings.
During the raid activities, citizens in the district center and several rural councils were inspected.
As part of the fire prevention work, to reinforce the acquired knowledge, rescuers presented household owners with recommendations for reducing the risk of fires and their consequences, as well as safety reminders on fire safety rules, which include actions in case of fire and emergency service phone numbers.
