Events are being held in the Verkhnedvinsk region to prevent loss of life

As part of the "Don't Burn Your Life Out!" campaign, EMERCOM employees conducted a series of events with residents of the region, the main goal of which is to prevent fires and deaths from them.

Rescuers, together with their assistants, members of the public organization of rescuers and firefighters, met with market visitors and residents of dormitories. Buyers and residents were informed about the goals and objectives of the campaign, given examples of tragic consequences of smoking in bed, including while intoxicated, and reminded of the rules for the installation and operation of stove heating, as well as the need to install autonomous fire alarms and maintain them in working order.

In addition, EMERCOM employees visited private housing of citizens, where risk group citizens – lonely pensioners and disabled people – reside, as well as households of citizens prone to alcohol abuse.

During the comprehensive inspection of households, special attention was paid to the condition of stove heating, gas and electrical equipment, the presence and operability of autonomous fire alarms in living rooms, rules for safe evacuation from burning premises were reviewed, and emergency service numbers were not forgotten.
