Preventive "landing" in the Verkhnedvinsk district!
As part of the republican campaign "Children in Focus!", a preventive "landing party" landed in the Verkhnedvinsk district. It included employees from the propaganda and public relations sector of the regional Department of Emergency Situations, as well as from the Polotsk, Novopolotsk, and Rossono city and district departments for emergency situations.
The campaign took place in educational institutions, retail outlets, the Republican Unitary Enterprise "Belpochta" in the Borkovichi, Dernovichi, Volynets, Shaiterovo, and Kokhanovichi rural executive committees, and in the town of Verkhnedvinsk.
Preventive measures were carried out throughout the Verkhnedvinsk district. Simple safety rules could be heard at literally every step.
Safety lessons were held in schools, during which thematic games were conducted with schoolchildren, actions in case of fire were explained, and emergency service numbers were reminded. To reinforce the acquired knowledge, evacuation drills were conducted in the schools.
In stores and post office facilities, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations set up interactive platforms where they talked about the rules of safe behavior at home, on the street, and in public places. Citizens were also informed about the disappointing statistics on the number of fires and their predominant causes.
In kindergartens, educational cartoons about safety were shown to children, and fun activities and quizzes were also held.
It is gratifying that all these events were held thanks to the help of employees from neighboring districts and employees of the Vitebsk Department of Emergency Situations, who always come to the aid of their colleagues.
