Once again about the rules of safe behavior
Representatives of the Verkhnedvinsk department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations visited places of mass gathering of people to convey important rules for their life safety to the public.
These places included the "Euroopt" and "Mayak" stores. Visitors to the retail outlets, young and old, were invited to small safety posts. The youngest participant in the campaign was 8 years old, and the "most experienced" was 84. Despite their age and occupation, rescuers found an approach to everyone and explained the rules of conduct in various emergency situations. Everyone has heard about the fires that occurred in the district, but it turned out that not everyone knows what led to them. An employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations helped to understand this, armed with a photo project showing the results of fires and their causes.
Adults know the number 112 well, but the younger generation not only knows the number but also "automatically" explains the algorithm of actions in case of fire from the moment of detection to the use of improvised fire extinguishing means.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations employees could not ignore the topic of the dangers of winter and spring bodies of water. With the help of brochures, store visitors visually saw how to help a victim who fell through the ice and how to avoid falling into an icy trap themselves.
What all participants of the campaign coped with flawlessly was identifying the popular causes of fires.
– Stoves, electrical appliances, children playing with fire, careless smoking… – one of the participants in the campaign immediately listed all the most common causes of fires.
Rescuers recommended all parents to take care of instilling safe behavior in their children and to always be with them, not shifting this responsibility to minors or gadgets.
