The internet and all mass media are sometimes full of such headlines and comments. They reveal a fact: children have gotten into trouble.

Fires and burns rank among the leading causes of childhood injuries. In the republic alone, over the past ten years, fire has claimed the lives of ninety-three children, twenty-one of whom died in the northern region. The statistics are frightening. Behind each of these incidents is a story where adults play the main role: carelessly extinguished a cigarette butt, failed to repair a stove in time, did not replace wiring, removed a smoke detector, did not supervise a child, or even, in that fateful moment, parents left them alone.
