The shed burned down in the agro-town of Shaiterovo
The alarm call to rescuers was received on November 27 at approximately 2:32 AM. The 101 service was informed that an outbuilding was on fire in the village of Shaiterovo, Tsentralnaya Street.
When the firefighters arrived at the scene, the shed was burning with an open flame.
The shed, built in 1972, is electrified and not gasified.
The owner of the shed, born in 1937, is a pensioner and lives alone. At the time of the fire, she was at home. She was the one who called rescuers for assistance.
As a result of the fire, the roof of two outbuildings was destroyed, and the ceilings, walls, and property were damaged.
The considered version of the cause of the fire is a violation of the rules for operating electrical networks and electrical equipment.
What malfunctions of electrical wiring and electrical appliances most often lead to fires?
Old wiring! Over time, the insulation of wires deteriorates and loses its properties; rodents can also damage it. Wallpapering and painting contribute to the spread of fire in case of overload or short circuit. When wiring has "exceeded" its service life, the probability of fire begins to increase. Therefore, if there are doubts, or if the wire insulation is visually worn out, it is better to replace the wiring.
Fires most often occur at wire connection points. All connections must be made in junction boxes. It is not allowed to directly connect copper and aluminum wires; special connectors must be used for dissimilar conductors. Special attention should be paid to wiring laid along combustible elements, including under combustible sheathing; it is difficult to monitor the condition of wiring in these places, but damage by rodents is not excluded, so such wiring must be laid with appropriate protection.
