The Ministry of Emergency Situations' campaign has already started in our district
The republican campaign "Don't Burn Your Life!" began in the Verkhnedvinsk district at a meeting of the public law enforcement point of the Kokhanovichsky rural council, as well as during a conversation with the staff of the housing and communal services.
The head of the district department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations welcomed all citizens present at the meeting of the public law enforcement point and invited them to solve the "Secret of Safety," where everyone learned not only about the dangers that lead to fires but also tested their "detective" skills in finding violations in a picture of a private house.
Safe use of stove heating, drying laundry, minimum distances to combustible materials, and other rules were discussed with the rescuers.
– Smoking is not only harmful to health, but it can also lead to a fire that will claim not only the life of the smoker but also their loved ones. Therefore, it is very important to follow safety rules: collect ashes in a non-combustible ashtray, smoke away from combustible materials (furniture, curtains, flammable and combustible liquids, etc.), and keep sources of ignition away from children, – said Kristina Domasevich, a representative of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Safe use of electrical equipment, children's mischief with fire, and safety measures when cooking with an open flame – all this and more was discussed in a dialogue between rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations department and residents of the city and district.
For long-term smokers, a separate competition "Test Your Lung Strength" was held. They had to inflate balloons at speed. They did this surprisingly quickly.
– The safety of each of you is only in your hands. Remember that careless handling of fire can lead to a fire, – concluded the employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
