«Youth for Safety» Campaign

“Youth is the future” – this statement is undeniable, as young people have always been the drivers of progress.

The state plays an important role in this process, because if it manages to instill a sense of patriotism and love for their Motherland in young people from an early age, then they, in turn, will put their heart and soul into its development and well-being.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) pays great attention to working with children and youth, which leads to their closer engagement with the work of rescuers and makes them the "right hand" of MES propagandists during various events aimed at fostering a culture of life safety. One of these is the republican campaign “Youth for Safety”.

From October 2 to October 13, the younger generation will be entrusted with an important mission: to raise the level of public knowledge in the field of life safety and to provide all possible assistance to those in need – primarily, the elderly.

As part of the campaign, a "101 Good Deeds" marathon, safety lessons, events at safety posts, and visits to family-type homes will be held. The youth contingent, together with rescuers, will conduct these activities.

The focus will also shift towards the Belarusian Youth Public Association of Rescuers-Firefighters. For young rescuers-firefighters, "Among Friends of BYAPRF" will be held, where creative performances, contests, and quizzes await the children, as well as the presentation of the first membership cards and initiation into the ranks of BYAPRF.

For those wishing to join the ranks of BYAPRF, the sports festival "Courage, Strength, and Bravery" will be held, as well as the dialogue platform "101 Questions to a Rescuer."

The MES urges all schoolchildren to observe safety rules: do not start fires on your own, especially in unauthorized places, avoid playing with open flames, ensure electrical appliances are in good working order, and, of course, together with their parents, take care of the safety of their elderly relatives.
