Верхнедвинск. О безопасности в массы

Verkhnedvinsk. On safety for the masses

Rescuers of Verkhnedvinsk set up a training safety post in the city's central park. Here, both children and adults had the opportunity to discuss life safety issues. Seeing the fire truck, the children wanted to "dive into" firefighting and try on the firefighters' combat gear themselves. This idea was supported by adults who appreciated the complexity of this profession by donning the heavy uniforms and equipment of firefighters.

While the on-duty shift personnel demonstrated the fire truck and talked about the work of rescuers, Kristina Domasevich, an inspector from the life safety promotion sector, engaged citizens in training on safe behavior:

– Let's imagine you witnessed a forest fire. What would you do? – Kristina Anatolyevna asked a young family.

– Remember: if you discover a fire, do not panic and immediately call 112. But to prevent a fire, you need to know the basic safety rules. Playing with fire is dangerous, – Kristina Domasevich raised topics about the dangers of electrical equipment, stove heating, children's pranks with fire, and careless handling of fire.

The central park is located near the city beach. Rescuers decided to once again remind vacationers about water safety rules.

– Be vigilant near water. Do not leave children unattended. Take care of yourselves and your loved ones! – the rescuers appealed to the citizens.

With the help of the Ministry of Emergency Situations representatives, park visitors spent their time productively, participated in educational contests and games, and received memorable prizes and safety brochures.
