Verkhnedvinsk. About the rescuers' dynasty
The dynasty of rescuers is not always father and son. In our material, we will tell you the story of two men with the surname Ablets and the name Sergey: one is an uncle – a former inspector of supervision, the other is a nephew – the current senior rescuer instructor.
Ablets Sergey Vasilievich joined the service in November 1994 as the head of the guard of the militarized fire unit No. 2 in the settlement of Osvyeya, Verkhnedvinsk district. At that time, this unit was being militarized. In January 1995, he was appointed inspector of state fire supervision of the Verkhnedvinsk fire unit, where he worked in this position until April 2014. And since 2018, he joined the ranks of the veteran organization of emergency services and units.
– I was very glad when my nephew joined our ranks. I told him – don't worry, everything will be fine! – shared Sergey Vasilievich his memories.
His nephew, Ablets Sergey Igorevich, joined the Ministry of Emergency Situations on July 4, 2012, as the head of a department at fire rescue post No. 14.
– My uncle was a worthy example of service, and he told me about all the nuances I would encounter in my service. He encouraged me in difficult situations and gave advice based on his own service experience, – said Sergey Igorevich.
After several years as head of a department, he was appointed head of the same fire post. He served there until October 31, 2021. And from the next day, he continued his service at fire rescue post No. 11, first as head, and then to this day – as a senior rescuer instructor.
10 years ago, Sergey Igorevich met his future wife. In 2017 – the wedding, and in 2021 – the birth of their son Mark.
– There is always coziness and peace at home. Here I get a surge of energy and the desire to strive forward, achieve something more, and not stand still, – shared Sergey Igorevich and continued: – The profession of "Rescuer" is highly valued in our family. Since the birth of our son, he has been attracted to fire trucks. My wife is proud and respects this difficult work.
Sergey "junior" spoke about his first fire call: "The fire happened in the village of Sarya. A house was burning. I froze from excitement when I received the call on phone 101. Of course, there was fear. I was afraid that I might do something wrong. After all, human lives depend on me. Once on site, the fear disappeared, and a plan of action immediately forms in my head.
– My uncle often talked about his profession. I looked at him in uniform and understood how many human lives he saves, risking himself. Looking at his example, I decided to continue the firefighter dynasty in our family, – Sergey Igorevich recalled past years with pride.
