– Previously, April 17th was the Day of the Soviet Fire Department. I remember how difficult it was… Once I was a lieutenant, and already a unit commander. My task was to be an exemplary officer and a worthy commander. I am very glad to see all of you.
Each of those present shared some of their pleasant memories of the challenging service times. The historical record and photographs from past years added a touch of nostalgia.
– You have all honorably completed your professional journey. And we will make every effort to continue it with dignity, – the head of the Verkhnedvinsk unit addressed the fire service veterans.
The ceremonial part of the meeting was followed by an informal setting with tea and a cake shaped like a fire truck.
On the eve of the holiday, employees of the department participated in the beautification of the grave of a department veteran. He worked until 2013 as a driver at PASP 11 Bigosovo.
