On Constitution Day, young residents of Verkhnedvinsk will receive passports

By tradition, on the eve of the Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus, 14-year-old boys and girls in the region, as well as throughout the country, solemnly receive their very first important document – a passport.

This event is held in the republic as part of the campaign "We are Citizens of Belarus!".

Among those for whom the Year of Peace and Creation will also be remembered as a step into adulthood are students of Secondary School No. 2 of Verkhnedvinsk named after Hero of the Soviet Union N. V. Troian: Ilya Ogieevich, Anastasia Kataeva, and Daniil Girdyuk.

Anastasia is not only an active participant in the intellectual contests "Belka", "Kentavrik", "Kolosok", "Globusenok", "Buslik" and the dance group "Yarytsa", but also a prize-winner of the regional stage of the military-patriotic game "Orlyonok". She is a winner of regional athletics competitions and "Snow Sniper".

Daniil Girdyuk also shows good sports achievements – he plays in the football team of the Verkhnedvinsk Children and Youth Sports School. He has 15 medals of various degrees in his personal collection. The young man is an excellent student, a participant and prize-winner of distance Olympiads in various school subjects. In the 6th grade, he became the winner of the regional Olympiad in the Russian language.
Ilya Ogieevich actively participates in the public life of the class, a participant in the Honor Guard of regional patriotic events.

Having received their passports, the young people became full citizens of the Republic of Belarus. The new document is not just an identity card, but also a serious responsibility.

Through their studies and determination, they prove that they are worthy citizens of our country.
