The «We Choose a Student Squad!» project has been launched

The republican youth promotional project "Choosing a Student Brigade" has been launched.

Its goal is to inform potential student brigade members about directions, projects, and employment opportunities.

At the Volynetskaya Secondary School, senior students, as well as eighth-graders who have turned 14, met with Alena Konakh, the First Secretary of the RK BRSM. Together, they watched a presentation about how their predecessors worked in the agricultural organizations of our district, as well as in student brigades of the Vitebsk region.

Natalia Korotkaya, Deputy Head of the Department, Head of the Agricultural Production Organization Department of the District Executive Committee, became a guest of the "open dialogue." Natalia Ivanovna spoke about how she herself worked during her student years, what she spent her first earnings on, and also shared her opinion on how difficult, but also fruitful, the work of agricultural workers is.

The students asked the guest what specific help they could provide while working in student brigades of agricultural enterprises, and what qualities a brigade member should possess.

As part of the meeting, the "Rodnoye-Narodnoye" project continued: Alena Konakh treated the children to sweets from Belarusian manufacturers. Accompanied by a guitar, they all performed a BSO song together.

The opportunity to earn their own pocket money during the summer period inspired the children. Those interested filled out questionnaires.

– Such meetings have become traditional, – noted Alena Konakh. – We have established cooperation with agricultural organizations: young people are introduced to useful work, and employers give them the opportunity to earn money, learn to work in a team, and be responsible. This year, OJSC "Shaiterovo," "Prudinki," and "Belkovshchina" are ready to accept us.
