The district stage of the republican competition "I am a patriot of my country" was held

The district stage of the republican competition "I am a Patriot of My Country" was held as part of the Belarusian-Russian project "Train of Memory".

The aim of the competition is to disseminate the experience of successful work of young leaders.

6 tenth-grade students took part in the district stage of the competition. These students have achieved high results in academic, social, sports, and volunteer activities, are leaders of student self-government, and are active members of the public association "Belarusian Republican Youth Union".

The competition participants had to complete 5 tasks: in their presentation, they had to talk about themselves, their achievements, their family, friends, hobbies, and interests; provide examples of projects they participated in; and share life hacks they use in their studies, social life, and daily life to achieve their goals.

Based on the results, 1st place was awarded to Shkinder Daria, a student of Verkhnedvinsk Gymnasium. 2nd place went to Fyodorov Vladislav, a student of Verkhnedvinsk Secondary School No. 2 named after Hero of the Soviet Union N.V. Troyan. 3rd place was taken by Litvinova Victoria, a student of Osvenskaya Secondary School.

All participants were awarded Certificates and books about the Verkhnedvinsk district titled "Pearl of the Belarusian North".

In February 2023, Daria will participate in the regional stage of the competition. We wish her a successful performance!
