The large-scale project "Train of Memory", which covered Belarus and Russia, is taking place with the participation of young residents of the district
The Verkhnedvinsk district is represented by Yulia Golubeva, a student of the Verkhnedvinsk Gymnasium named after I. A. Makeenko. All passengers of the "Memory Train" are winners of national competitions and qualifying stages. In Belarus, to become a participant in the project, the children passed the selection of the Republican Competition "I am a Patriot of My Country", in which more than 9 thousand people took part. In 2025, the project is timed to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. The total route runs through 15 cities of Russia and Belarus. The goal of the project is not only to see iconic memorials related to the history of the Great Patriotic War, but also to get acquainted with the natural wealth, cultural traditions, and industrial achievements of both countries.
