A round table discussion titled 'New Defenders of the New Century' was held at the I.A. Makeenko Verkhnedvinsk Gymnasium.
A discussion about serving the Motherland and patriotism, respect for traditions, and preserving historical truth took place on an important topic on the eve of Defender of the Fatherland Day with students of specialized military-patriotic classes of the gymnasium.
The participants of the round table were: ?Milinchuk D.V., Military Commissar of the district, ?Tomashevich V.S., Head of the district department of the Investigative Committee, ?Palchekh V.Ch., Head of the "Bigosovo" customs post, ?Kuzmionok A.V., Senior Assistant Prosecutor of the district, ?Bartashevich S.E., Head of the "Bigosovo" customs post department, ?Venger Yu.S., Chairman of the district organization of the NGO "Belarusian Union of Officers", ?Dean of the district, Archpriest of the St. Nicholas Church, Father Valentin. The topics discussed were: military duty, ensuring security and sovereignty, fostering patriotism and morality in youth, and career guidance. The students received answers to their questions. The students prepared a literary composition for the guests and presented postcards and flowers in honor of Defender of the Fatherland Day.
The director of the gymnasium, Vasyokha G.N., thanked the guests for participating in the round table, emphasizing the importance of such meetings for students, and congratulated the current and future defenders on the upcoming holiday.
