On September 27, a tourist sports event dedicated to World Tourism Day was held in the city park.

With a welcoming speech, A. V. Kiselevich, Director of Verkhnedvinsk FSK, and R. V. Romanyuk, Director of TIC "Verkhnedvinsk", addressed the attendees.

As part of the event, city residents who met the GTO (Ready for Labour and Defence) standards and received gold, silver, and bronze badges respectively were awarded. Tourist sports competition: ready, set, go!

Mandatory briefing – and three participating teams (Verkhnedvinsk Gymnasium named after I. A. Makeenok, Secondary School No. 2 named after Hero of the Soviet Union N. V. Troyan, and the working youth) – were already in the rhythm of the competition. After completing the obstacle course, each team participated in the "Guess the Tune" contest, prepared by the RCKiNT, and a quiz from TIC. The results of all stages were as follows: The victory was won by the team of Secondary School No. 2 named after Hero of the Soviet Union N. V. Troyan. The working youth representatives took second place. The team of Verkhnedvinsk Gymnasium named after I. A. Makeenok stopped at the third step of the podium. The most knowledgeable tourist among adults was A. V. Gagalincky. All participating teams were awarded gifts from OJSC "Invet". Congratulations to the winner and prize-winners!
