The youth of Verkhnedvinsk are ready to overcome anything!

On July 21, an regional water-walking hike dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation gathered fans of an active healthy lifestyle among working youth in the Polotsk district, in the tract "Zolotye Peski".

Only 8 teams from the Vitebsk region showed interest in natural attractions and the tourism movement, including the team from the Verkhnedvinsk region: Olga Efremchik, Victoria Simonova, Alexander Simonov, Vladislav Palenny, Ilya Osipov, Nikita Strizhenok.
The event started at the monument to the partisans of the K.E. Voroshilov brigade, in the Polotsk fortified region, where, as a sign of respect for the memory of those who gave us a peaceful sky, the youth laid flowers.
The event consisted of three stages:
a water hike on kayaks (2 people);
a walking route with the search for judge points (4 people);
a sports and entertainment program.
Vladislav Palenny and Nikita Strizhenok covered an 8-kilometer route by kayak on Lake Gomel and Suya. For those who sat in a kayak for the first time,
and there were such participants, the emotions were indescribable!
Olga Efremchik, Victoria Simonova, Alexander Simonov, and Ilya Osipov went on a 6-kilometer hike through the places of military glory.
The team-building sports competitions, organized by the FSC "Pridvinye" of the Polotsk region, were emotional, spectacular, and unexpected for everyone. As a result of the team-building games, the team from the Verkhnedvinsk region took two first places.
In the overall standings, our guys took second place in the regional water-walking hike for working youth!
