Results of the prosecutor's supervisory activities in the field of combating corruption
The fight against corruption has been and remains a priority area of oversight for the prosecutor's office.
The district prosecutor's office combats corruption in a targeted, comprehensive, and continuous manner. Efforts are focused not only on detecting and suppressing instances of corruption,
but also on identifying and eliminating the underlying causes.
Thus, in 2025 and the elapsed period of the current year, the district prosecutor's office has issued 2 submissions, lodged 4 protests, and issued 7 orders regarding identified violations of legislation on the fight
against corruption, on state procurement of goods (works, services),
and on the declaration of income and property by heads of enterprises
and organizations of various forms. As a result of the review of prosecutorial oversight acts, 11 officials have been held accountable in various ways.
Violations of anti-corruption legislation have been identified
in the housing and communal services sector and the agro-industrial complex.
It should be noted that violations of legislation and shortcomings in work have become possible due to officials' insufficient knowledge of anti-corruption legislation, a not fully established systematic approach to countering corruption, and the improper performance of their duties by employees, as well as their personal inattention to work and insufficient control by management.
The district prosecutor's office will continue its work to identify violations of anti-corruption legislation requirements and to hold perpetrators accountable as established by law.
