The Prosecutor's Office of the Verkhnedvinsk district, at an on-site court hearing, supported the state prosecution in a criminal case against a 44-year-old employee of an agricultural enterprise – he is accused of stealing the property of the agricultural enterprise.

The case review took place in the administrative building of the farm in the presence of employees.

According to the case materials, the livestock breeder stole metal grates dismantled from decommissioned agricultural enterprise facilities.

Subsequently, he transported the stolen grates, weighing over five tons in total, to a collection point using his personal vehicle
and sold them as scrap metal.

Through his illegal actions, the man caused property damage to the agricultural organization amounting to over 3000 rubles.

In court, the accused fully admitted his guilt, sincerely repented of his actions, and the damage has been fully compensated voluntarily.

Taking into account the evidence presented by the state prosecutor, the court of Verkhnedvinsk district rendered a guilty verdict. Pursuant to Part 1 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus, the enterprise employee was sentenced to correctional labor for a term of 1 year with a 10% deduction from his monthly earnings to the state revenue, and his vehicle was confiscated for state ownership.

The court's verdict has entered into legal force and was not appealed.
