The Prosecutor's Office of the Verkhnedvinsk district supported the state prosecution at an on-site court hearing

The Prosecutor's Office of the Verkhnedvinsk District, in a field court session, supported the state prosecution in a criminal case against a 53-year-old agricultural enterprise employee. He is accused of misappropriating the property of the agricultural enterprise. The case was heard in the administrative building of the farm in the presence of its employees. According to the case materials, the tractor driver-machinist siphoned diesel fuel from the fuel tanks of a tractor and a front loader, which he subsequently stored in an outbuilding at his place of residence for personal use.

In total, the employee appropriated over 200 liters of diesel fuel for his own benefit. Through his illegal actions, the man caused property damage to the agricultural organization in the amount of over 500 rubles.

In the court session, the accused fully admitted his guilt, sincerely repented of his actions, and the damage was compensated by the seizure of the stolen property. Taking into account the evidence presented by the state prosecutor, the Verkhnedvinsk District Court rendered a guilty verdict. Based on Part 1 of Article 211 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus, the employee was sentenced to restriction of liberty without direction to an open-type correctional institution for a term of 2 years, with a fine of 100 base units, without deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities. The court's verdict has not yet entered into legal force and may be appealed and protested in the appellate procedure.
