The Prosecutor's Office of the Verkhnedvinsk district supported the state prosecution in a criminal case

The Prosecutor's Office of the Verkhnedvinsk district, at an on-site hearing held at the agricultural enterprise KUPSHP "K.", supported the state prosecution in a criminal case
against a 46-year-old local resident (an employee of the enterprise) – he is accused of misappropriating property committed by an official using his official powers (embezzlement by abuse of official powers).

As established during the court investigation, R., being an official, acting out of mercenary motives, contrary to the interests of service, by abusing his official powers, misappropriated household scrap metal - metal grates dismantled from decommissioned agricultural enterprise facilities. Subsequently, using the enterprise's vehicle, he transported the stolen metal grates weighing a total of 3,326 kg to a collection point, where he sold them as household scrap metal

for a total amount of 1,862.56 rubles, thereby causing KUPSHP "K." property damage in the specified amount.

In the court hearing, the accused R. fully admitted his guilt in the charge brought against him, sincerely repented of his actions, and voluntarily compensated for the damage.

The totality of the evidence presented by the state prosecutor was sufficient for the court to conclude
the guilt of the accused in the act imputed to him.

A guilty verdict has been rendered in the criminal case.

Based on Part 1 of Article 210 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus, R. was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months of imprisonment with a fine of 50 base units, and deprived of the right to hold positions related to the performance of organizational, managerial, and administrative-economic duties
for a period of 3 years. Part 1 of Article 77 of the Criminal Code was applied, the execution of the sentence of imprisonment was postponed for 1 year and 6 months. During the probationary period, the accused R. will be assigned the duties provided for by Part 2 of Article 81 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.

The court's verdict has not yet entered into legal force.
