In the Educational Institution "Verkhnedzvinskaya Gymnasium named after I.A. Makeenko", with the participation of the Senior Assistant Prosecutor of the Verkhnedzvinsk District, A.V. Kuzmionok, a round table was held on the topic "New Defenders of the New Century"

In her speech, the Senior Assistant Prosecutor of the district touched upon the themes of military duty, ensuring security and sovereignty, and fostering patriotism and morality in youth. A discussion was held with students of specialized classes with a military-patriotic focus on the importance of serving the Motherland, respecting traditions, and preserving historical truth.

Within the framework of the event, students were also informed about the progress of the criminal investigation into the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War and the post-war period, and about the punitive operations carried out by Nazi war criminals and their allies on the territory of the Verkhnedvinsk district.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Senior Assistant Prosecutor answered the students' questions.
