Most citizens actively send and receive such greeting cards for holidays, birthdays, or other significant events. However, such images can infect a device with a virus.

For example, fraudsters may send greeting cards via messengers that contain phishing links on behalf of relatives or friends. In some cases, under the guise of congratulations, viruses are hidden in the message, which, when opened, can lead to the loss of accounts in messengers or on other platforms, as well as provide access to bank card data.

In addition, attackers may send malicious software disguised as an archive. By opening an archive allegedly containing a picture or presentation, the user grants access to personal data and their account.

To reduce the risk of encountering online threats, it is necessary to enable two-factor authentication in messengers where possible, as well as pay attention to incoming messages and avoid clicking on suspicious links.

To avoid becoming a victim of cybercriminals, pay attention to the number from which you receive calls and messages. The number cannot be from another operator or from another country. Under no circumstances should you install programs named "AnyDesk" or "RustDesk" on your mobile phone. Using these programs, attackers gain access to your mobile phone.
