Troyan".
Senior Assistant Prosecutor of Verkhnedvinsk District Kuzmionok Anastasia delivered a lecture to the attendees on the progress of the criminal case investigation into the genocide of the civilian population of Belarus during the Great Patriotic War and the post-war period.
During the lecture, the prosecutor's assistant explained that the criminal proceedings initiated by the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Belarus to investigate the facts of genocide are aimed at identifying specific individuals among the German invaders and their accomplices who managed to evade responsibility for the murder of civilians, torture and abuse in concentration camps and ghettos, and mass deportation of the civilian population into German slavery.
Information from the criminal case will allow raising the issue with international organizations regarding the recognition of Belarus as a victim of genocide and will prevent attempts to devalue historical truth.
