"Everything is concentrated in your hands, take it and act." What Lukashenko oriented new local managers towards
President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, having considered personnel issues, has consented to appointments in the leadership of a number of regional, city, and district executive committees, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
"You all know the tasks, gentlemen. I have spoken about this more than once," the President addressed the local managers. "This is a special year. Everyone needs to prepare for the political campaigns."
The head of state instructed to pay special attention to the issues raised by the population. At the same time, this does not relieve people of their duty to independently solve basic everyday problems and not wait for assistance from the authorities in minor domestic matters, noted Alexander Lukashenko.
"Monitor pricing. Monitor housing and communal services issues," the President continued. "The issue of agriculture is definitely within your competence. One investment project per district is your task. We will not forget this, and I, above all. This is my personal instruction to each district executive committee chairman. You need to move quickly around the country, looking for investors. This year, you must report on the implementation of this project."
"Everything is concentrated in your hands. Take it and act. There is no one to blame. The times will be difficult. Therefore, I earnestly ask you: do not relax," emphasized the Belarusian leader.
