Lukashenko: the updated Constitution has become a reliable basis for strengthening public unity
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated all citizens of the country on Constitution Day. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"Dear compatriots! Today we celebrate Constitution Day. In the Year of Peace and Creation, this holiday takes on special significance," the congratulation reads. "The Basic Law of the country reflects the centuries-old aspiration of Belarusians to determine their own path of development, to live in an independent state, and to ensure the well-being of society through their labor."
The Head of State emphasized that the Constitution, updated at a pivotal time for the country, has preserved the fundamental principles of peace, social justice, respect for past achievements, and the continuity of the traditional values of the Belarusian people. It has become a reliable foundation for strengthening public unity, socio-political stability, and the coordinated and effective work of all branches of government.
"In the current geopolitical conditions, unwavering adherence to the provisions of the Basic Law serves as a reliable guarantee of the protection of national interests, the strengthening of the legal foundation of Belarusian statehood, and makes us even stronger and more successful," the President is convinced. "I congratulate all citizens of Belarus on Constitution Day! May our native country always be peaceful, prosperous, and flourishing!"
