Lukashenko signed a decree on a significant reduction of the administrative burden on citizens
Administrative procedures in Belarus have been adjusted to take into account their practical application and changes in legislative acts. On January 9, Head of State Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 5 "On Amendments to Decrees of the President of the Republic of Belarus on the Implementation of Administrative Procedures".
BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader. The document is aimed at reducing the administrative burden on citizens, optimizing and simplifying a significant number of procedures. The changes have been made on a comprehensive basis and taking into account proposals from the public and a wide range of interested bodies and organizations.
In particular, for the convenience of citizens, the number of requested documents for more than 100 administrative procedures has been reduced. For example, when submitting documents confirming payment for the implementation of a number of procedures, the capabilities of the ERIP will be used more fully. A significant portion of the information will be requested by state bodies independently. Procedures that have lost their relevance, including as a result of automated interaction between state bodies, are being excluded.
For example, the need for parents to obtain certificates related to the provision of vouchers for children at the expense of budget funds is excluded. The relevant information will be automatically requested from the unified system for accounting for such children of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment. In addition, the timelines for carrying out a number of administrative procedures have been reduced.
In particular, the period for issuing a signed act of inspection of the conservation of unfinished construction is reduced from 1 month to 20 calendar days. At the same time, new administrative procedures are being introduced to enable citizens to exercise their rights more fully. For example, this concerns obtaining the consent of the guardianship authority for the alienation of residential premises in the interests of a minor child under state care. In order to enhance the legal protection of citizens, additional documents are being introduced for the implementation of certain procedures. For example, for transactions with state registration of real estate that entail the emergence of the right of joint marital property.
