Lukashenko has departed on a working visit to Oman
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has embarked on a working visit to Oman, BelTA reports. Negotiations are planned between the head of the Belarusian state and the Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tarik Al Said. Cooperation between the two countries has significantly intensified recently, including thanks to previous exchanges of visits.
Promising areas of cooperation, which were identified during Alexander Lukashenko's visit to Muscat in 2024, have been developed and formed the basis of a comprehensive roadmap signed in Minsk during the visit of the Sultan of Oman in October 2025. The upcoming visit of the President of Belarus to Oman will provide an opportunity to discuss in detail practical steps for the development of previously reached agreements and the implementation of joint projects in various fields.
