Лукашенко пригласил Мадуро в Беларусь и не исключил возможность своего визита в Венесуэлу

Lukashenko invited Maduro to Belarus and did not rule out the possibility of his visit to Venezuela

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko invited the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Venezuela to Russia, Jesús Rafael Salazar Velásquez, to a meeting. It took place on November 25 at the Palace of Independence, BELTA correspondent reports.

"Venezuela is not a foreign country to Belarus. We have been cooperating with you for a very long time. I would like our relations to be more intensive and advanced. There is something to talk about," the head of state said during a conversation with the diplomat.

During the conversation, the President made a request to the ambassador: "I earnestly ask you to convey to my friend Nicolás Maduro that we are always waiting for him in Belarus. It is high time for him to visit here, in Belarus."

Alexander Lukashenko noted that the President of Venezuela might have similar expectations, and therefore did not rule out his own visit to Venezuela. "I am convinced that he has the same attitude towards me. I will spare no effort to find time and visit Venezuela. These are problematic, complex, difficult times. But nevertheless, there is a way out of any situation, one only needs to strive for it. You understand this no worse than I do," the Belarusian leader stated.
