Лукашенко пообещали вывести отечественную перепелку через три с половиной года

Lukashenko was promised to develop domestic quail in three and a half years

During his visit to the Soligorsk Poultry Farm, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko was informed about plans to establish a breeding and genetic center for quail farming, a BELTA correspondent reports.

The head of state inquired from specialists when Belarus would have its own quail. The fact is that currently, domestic poultry farming depends on the supply of day-old chicks of grandparent and parent stock from abroad.

"Our own quail will be available in three and a half years," said Inna Tolkacheva, director of the Soligorsk Poultry Farm.

Alexander Lukashenko also asked for the opinion of Vladimir Karanik, head of the National Academy of Sciences. "There is a good chance for quail," he replied.
