President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko announced plans to agree with President of Russia Vladimir Putin on the construction of a second nuclear power plant in Belarus. He stated this in his speech in Moscow at the Global Atomic Forum, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
"Tomorrow, Vladimir Vladimirovich (President of Russia Vladimir Putin. - BELTA note) and I will consult, talk, and make a decision on the construction of a second nuclear power plant in Belarus," said the head of state.
"We will build it together with the Russians," Alexander Lukashenko stated.
