68 representatives from various fields of activity have been awarded state decorations. The corresponding decree was signed on September 10 by the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, BELTA was informed by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The Gratitude of the President of Belarus has been announced to agricultural workers and the staff of six agricultural enterprises.
Orders, medals, and honorary titles have been awarded for many years of fruitful work, high professionalism, courage and determination shown in saving a person on water, achieving high production indicators, merits in military service, protection of the state border, environmental activities, significant personal contribution to ensuring legality, strengthening law and order and combating crime, eliminating the consequences of emergencies, developing the agro-industrial complex, forestry, industry, construction, transport industry, excellent achievements in the fields of healthcare, education, science, culture and sports.
The Order of Fatherland, II degree, has been awarded to Alexander Ilyushchenko, General Director of the Institute of Powder Metallurgy named after Academician O.V. Roman; the Order of Honor has been awarded to Elena Lebedeva, Head of the Legal Department of the Presidential Affairs Directorate of Belarus, and Valery Khelsky, Chairman of the Grodno District Executive Committee; the Order of Francysk Skaryna has been awarded to Igor Olovnikov, soloist-instrumentalist artist, leading stage master of the Belarusian State Order of the Red Banner of Labor Philharmonic Society.
The medal "For a Saved Life" has been awarded to Vitaly Gorozhankin, a pensioner; the medal "For Distinction in Military Service" has been awarded to Olga Cherginets, Head of the Department of the Main Directorate of the State Border Committee.
Representatives of various law enforcement agencies have been awarded medals for distinction in protecting public order and the state border, in preventing and eliminating emergencies.
A large group of workers has been awarded the medal "For Labor Merits". Among them are Vadim Bogush, Rector of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, and Andrey Buinevich, General Director of OJSC "INTEGRAL" - management company of the holding "INTEGRAL".
Among those awarded the medal of Francysk Skaryna are Lyudmila Zemtsova, choir artist of the National Academic Folk Choir of the Republic of Belarus named after G.I. Tsitovich, and Sergey Medvedev, Director of the Youth Estrada Theater.
The decree also confers honorary titles of the Republic of Belarus.

The title of "Honored Industrial Worker" was awarded to Elena Radyuk, a confectioner at OJSC "Kommunarka". Vladimir Kosenkov, Director of the Klichev Forestry, became an Honored Forester, Vladimir Bublik, General Director of OJSC "Stroytrust No. 1", became an Honored Builder, and Vladimir Kolesen, Head of Projects for Construction and Repair of Transport Facilities at OJSC "Road Construction Trust No. 5", also became an Honored Builder.
Anastasia Shkurday and Ilya Shimanovich, athletes-instructors of the Belarusian national swimming team of the Republican Center for Olympic Training in Water Sports, were awarded the title of "Honored Master of Sports."
