Belarus and Iran have agreed to conclude a strategic cooperation agreement
Belarus and Iran have agreed to conclude a treaty on strategic cooperation. This was announced by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to journalists on August 20, following talks with President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
The Head of State described the talks as substantive. According to him, the parties achieved good results that will enable positive shifts in bilateral interaction. "A good outcome of these shifts will be if we, in the near future, as agreed with the President, prepare and sign a treaty on strategic cooperation," said Alexander Lukashenko.
