Lukashenko sees great potential for expanding cooperation between Belarus and Côte d'Ivoire
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, on behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, congratulated President of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire Alassane Dramane Ouattara on the national holiday - Independence Day. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The Head of State noted that Côte d'Ivoire is among the fastest-growing economies in the world. "This is undoubtedly a compelling testament to the effectiveness of the course chosen by the authorities and opens up new opportunities for international cooperation," the congratulatory message reads.
The President emphasized that the dialogue between Minsk and Yamoussoukro is based on the principles of friendship, trust and respect, and Belarus considers Côte d'Ivoire one of its promising trading partners in Africa. "We have great potential for expanding cooperation," the Belarusian leader noted. "We can offer our successful experience in implementing projects in Africa in such areas as training qualified personnel in various sectors and strengthening food security, including providing equipment and machinery for agricultural mechanization, fertilizers, technologies, and food products."
Alexander Lukashenko expressed confidence that future visits at all levels and active cooperation between the business circles of the two countries will yield significant results for the benefit of both states.
The President of Belarus wished the President of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire good health, high spirits, and inexhaustible energy, and the people of this country - peace and harmony.
