The Special Fund of the President of Belarus will allocate over Br240,000 to support talented youth
Head of State Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree approving the decision of the Board of the Special Fund of the President of Belarus for the Support of Talented Youth. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
Br560 thousand will be allocated from the Special Fund of the President of Belarus to support gifted students.
More than Br240 thousand will be allocated from the republican budget for these purposes from the reserve fund.
Thirteen winners of international art and creative competitions, including two ensembles - the folk dance ensemble "Sazhye" of the Soligorsk Palace of Culture and a duet from the Belarusian State Choreographic Gymnasium-College - became recipients of grand prizes with the title of laureate of the special fund.
Special prizes were awarded to 26 gifted young people and 12 creative groups, winners of international and republican creative competitions. Among them are the folk song ensemble "Dzvinskiya peralivy" of the Novopolotsk State Music College, the vocal ensemble "Karagod" of the E.K. Tikotsky Children's Art School No. 1 in Bobruisk, the exemplary dance ensemble "Milavitsa" of the Uvarovichi Children's Creativity Center of the Buda-Kashalyovsky District, the exemplary instrumental ensemble "Jive-Accord" of the Zhodino Children's Art School, and others.
Thirteen educators were recognized with the "For Contribution to the Education of Talented Youth" award.
These decisions are aimed at identifying and supporting talented youth, creating additional opportunities and favorable conditions for the development of their abilities, and stimulating the professional activities of educators.
