President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko spoke about his desire to meet with Cuban political and state figure Raul Castro and visit the grave of Cuban revolutionary and former leader of the country Fidel Castro together. The head of state announced this in Minsk during a gift exchange ceremony with President of Cuba Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, who is on an official visit to Belarus, according to BELTA.
"Thank you very much. I want to meet with Castro and go to Fidel with him," said the President of Belarus.
"He values you very highly," the Cuban leader emphasized in response.
Among the gifts from Alexander Lukashenko were chocolate and a set of Belarusian products.
