President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated Gennady Zyuganov, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and head of the Communist Party faction in the State Duma of the Federal Assembly, on his birthday. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"Your multifaceted fruitful activities, aimed at strengthening the internal stability, economic power and international authority of the Russian state, are a high example of selfless service to the Fatherland. As a convinced patriot, loyal to the ideals of internationalism and social progress, you make an invaluable contribution to strengthening friendship between our fraternal peoples," the congratulation reads.
Alexander Lukashenko wished Gennady Zyuganov good health, happiness and well-being.
