The working schedule of the President of Belarus is always very eventful.

The Belarusian leader's current working week was largely focused on China. The main event was a three-day visit by Alexander Lukashenko to Beijing, where he had a friendly family dinner with PRC Chairman Xi Jinping, as well as negotiations with representatives of China's business circles. The parties agreed to intensify relations, and one of the most important issues on the agenda is joint technological development and modernization in industry.

And at the end of the week in Minsk, Alexander Lukashenko took part in the grand opening of the National Football Stadium. This is a gift from China to the Belarusian side, made possible by a personal decision of Xi Jinping.

A significant date in the spiritual life of Belarus: during the week, Alexander Lukashenko congratulated his compatriots on the 900th anniversary of the Holy Euphrosyne Convent in Polotsk. Patriarch Kirill also arrived at the monastery's celebration, and the President met with him in Minsk on June 6.

During the week, Alexander Lukashenko signed two important decrees: on improving the efficiency of control (supervisory) activities, and on innovations in the gambling business. These documents were the subject of discussion at a recent meeting between the President and the leadership of the Council of Ministers, and have now received their final form.
