Lukashenko noted Belarus' readiness to resume an equal dialogue with Sweden
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, on behalf of his compatriots and himself, congratulated the people of Sweden on their National Day. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"Today, during a period of global transformations, the main priorities remain unchanged - environmental protection, improving the quality of life, and ensuring national security," the congratulatory message reads.
The Head of State emphasized that for many years, Swedes, like Belarusians, have diligently preserved the natural and cultural heritage of their homeland, and have been building a stable, legal, and democratic state. "On this path, until recently, we had good results in bilateral cooperation," noted the Belarusian leader.
The President expressed hope that Sweden's experience of past neutrality would help the country's leadership return to an equal and respectful dialogue, which Belarus is always ready to resume.
Alexander Lukashenko wished all residents of Sweden peace, happiness, and harmony.
