Lukashenko saw off the President of Zimbabwe at the airport
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko saw off his colleague and friend, President of Zimbabwe Emmerson Mnangagwa, at the airport, BelTA correspondent reports.
The Presidents held a meeting at the airport, during which they summed up the results of the Zimbabwean leader's working visit to Belarus.
Alexander Lukashenko emphasized that it is thanks to the personal contribution of Emmerson Mnangagwa that the current high level of relations between Belarus and Zimbabwe has been achieved.
"We are very happy to be here. And we are very happy with the dynamics of the relations that are developing between Zimbabwe and Belarus," said the President of Zimbabwe.
During their friendly conversation, the heads of state also touched upon the weather – the current May in Belarus has been quite cool. "You will have to reacclimatize at home again. But you have winter there too," noted the head of the Belarusian state.
