President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the players, coaching staff, and fans of the ice hockey club "Yunost-Minsk" on winning the President's Cup. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Head of State.
"A magnificent final and a brilliant end to the season, during which the team conquered three main trophies - the Saley Cup, the gold medals of the regular championship of the country, and the President's Cup. It is very important that the younger generation of 'Yunost' continues the traditions of the legendary club, which launched the careers of many hockey stars and became a real school of life for thousands of boys," the congratulatory message reads.
Alexander Lukashenko also addressed the warmest words of gratitude for the beautiful and persistent struggle to the ice hockey club "Vitebsk". "Your dedication to your home team, cohesion, and progress are impressive. I am convinced that your main victories are still ahead," the President emphasized.
