Lukashenko approved appointments in the leadership of several ministries
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko approved appointments in the leadership of a number of ministries on April 17, BELTA correspondent reports.
Andrei Konyushko, who previously held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee, has been approved as First Deputy Minister of Industry.
Elena Pechen, who was Deputy Minister of Finance, has also been promoted. The Head of State approved her appointment as First Deputy Minister of Finance.
Natalia Shevtsova has been approved for the position of Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food. Previously, she was Deputy Chairman of the Board of OJSC "Asset Management Agency".
Yulia Berdnikova has been approved as Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection. Until now, she worked as Manager of the Social Protection Fund of the Population of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.
Kirill Masharsky has been approved as Deputy Minister of Economy. Prior to his approval for the new position, he served as an assistant to the member of the Board (Minister) for Competition and Antitrust Regulation of the EEC.
