Беларусь ратифицировала договор с Россией о гарантиях безопасности. Лукашенко подписал соответствующий закон

Belarus ratified the treaty with Russia on security guarantees. Lukashenko signed the relevant law

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed the law "On the Ratification of the Treaty between the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation on Security Guarantees within the Union State". This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The international treaty enshrines mutual guarantees for the implementation of necessary measures in case of encroachments on the security of Belarus and Russia, as well as the Union State as a whole.

The fulfillment of obligations involves collective counteraction to unilateral restrictive measures of an economic and other nature, the use by the parties of the potential of their relations with other states and other subjects of international law to prevent encroachments on security, the adoption of retaliatory measures not only for committed acts of aggression, but also for threats of their commission, as well as the prompt provision of necessary military, military-technical and other assistance.

The cooperation provided for by the treaty is in-depth, which corresponds to the existing military-political challenges.
