Lukashenko: Russia will never agree to the deployment of EU peacekeeping forces in Ukraine
Russia will never agree to the deployment of EU peacekeeping forces in Ukraine. This was stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko in an interview with American blogger Mario Nawfal, according to BELTA.
"Regarding the deployment of peacekeeping forces there (to Ukraine. - BELTA note). Russia will never agree to this. At least, this is Russia's position today. Moreover, the leadership of the European Union, primarily in the person of Germany and France, is taking a very aggressive stance at the moment," the head of state said. "I don't know if Trump managed to persuade them towards peace and peace talks in his negotiations with Macron and Starmer (President of France and Prime Minister of Great Britain. - BELTA note), but you see - they are taking a very aggressive stance regarding the war between Russia and Ukraine."
