The President of Egypt congratulated Lukashenko on his election victory
The President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko received a congratulatory message from the President of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi on the occasion of his victory in the elections. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"It is with great pleasure that I extend to Your Excellency my warmest congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of your re-election for a new presidential term. I wish you every success in continuing to fulfill the hopes and aspirations of your friendly people," the congratulatory message reads.
Abdel Fattah el-Sisi highly praised the current level of cordial and mutually beneficial Egyptian-Belarusian relations, which have been successfully developing over the past decades, and expressed hope for further expansion of interaction and entry into new areas of cooperation for the benefit of the peoples of both countries.
The President of Egypt also thanked his Belarusian counterpart for the congratulatory message on the occasion of his birthday.
Abdel Fattah el-Sisi wished Alexander Lukashenko happiness, and the friendly people of Belarus - progress and prosperity.
