Лукашенко сравнил выборы в Беларуси и на Западе

Lukashenko compared elections in Belarus and the West

Unlike the West, Belarus holds democratic, not pseudo-democratic, elections. This was stated by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko while receiving a report from Prosecutor General Andrei Shved, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.

"The elections have passed. Thank you very much to the people for supporting us. From your point of view, as a body that upholds legality, were there any significant violations during the elections? What do we still need to work on?" asked Alexander Lukashenko.

"We must indeed hold democratic elections, not pseudo-democratic ones, as happens in the West: they teach us, but they themselves do not always hold elections democratically and not everywhere, and in general, perhaps, they don't hold them at all. We must do this very democratically: this is the time when the people decide everything," the President emphasized. "Therefore, from this point of view, were there any violations, did the prosecutors notice anything that we need to work on?"
