Lukashenko visited the new MAZ bus production
On January 21, during a visit to the Minsk Automobile Plant, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko was briefed on the reconstruction of bus production, a BELTA correspondent reports.
Alexander Lukashenko inspected the Maza passenger vehicle model range and visited the main assembly sections. The Head of State emphasized that if the products are of high quality, they will be purchased, despite the significant competition in the market. Otherwise, even a price reduction will not help.
"We built this facility from scratch in a year and a half. All equipment is installed and operational, personnel have been hired. 1223 people should work here. Today, we are transferring 431 people from the existing production, and we have a schedule: by the end of the year (by January 1, 2026, we should reach 100% capacity utilization of this production complex), the staff will be fully employed," reported the General Director of MA
